Tyco Fire Protection Products 516 Series

The Tyco Fire Protection 516 Series is a range of industrial and marine fire detection devices developed for use in harsh and hazardous environments. The series is commonly associated with Tyco / ZETTLER conventional and addressable fire detection accessories used in commercial buildings, offshore facilities, ships, oil & gas platforms, and industrial HVAC systems. This series designation is typically used for detector bases, interface modules, duct probe accessories, mounting components & marine-certified fire detection hardware.

In addition, this series is also designed to work with broader Tyco fire alarm ecosystems such as MX Technology systems, ZETTLER fire detection systems and series 600 and 600 detectors. 516 series is used to support smoke and heat detection, duct monitoring, fire alarm interfacing and hazardous environment fire protection. The advantages of having 516 series in your system are it is made to be reliable, it has long service life, compatible with saltwater exposure and humidity in marine environments and others.
